Advanced Training - Week 2
Welcome to Week 2! We are now going to expand on last weeks Heeling. We’ll be adding some distractions and we’re going to combine some commands learned in the Beginner Training Class. Start by watching the videos first, so you know what to expect to accomplish this week. All your lessons are explained in great detail in the Resource File for this week. I highly recommend you print out the Resource File and keep it handy as you perform the commands this week.

Expanding on Heeling part 1: To have your dog heel right beside you paying very close attention to every move you make and respond accordingly.

To have your dog come to you immediately when you use the “Come” command even with distractions around him.
Lesson 6:
Teach Your Dog To Sit, Lay Down And Then Stay
Teach Your Dog To Sit, Lay Down And Then Stay
Wouldn’t it be nice if your dog could lay down somewhere and stay for a bit, while you do something else? In this exercise we are going to teach your dog to stay on the same spot for a while.
Keep practicing these commands all week.
When you feel that your dog is ready you can move on to Week 3!
