IMPORTANT UPDATE 2: We had used a particular Premium brand in the past that we recommended, but over subsequent years got reports from our customers that their dog started to get food sensitivities to “chicken only” dog food: like skin conditions (hot spots/excessive licking), allergies, digestive system problems etc. Even one of our own dogs developed skin issues (hot spots/excessive licking) due to this food. We have now switched to TLC Pet Food. A dog food specifically formulated to prevent food sensitivities and allergies. After a few months the hot spots went away and never recurred again.
